Logic4training’s MET4 gas meter training course is designed for gas engineers involved in the fitting, exchange, removal and commissioning of Non Domestic diaphragm gas meters.
The MET4 assessment covers gas meters up to 40 cubic metres per hour capacity, with pipework up to 2” in size.
Logic4training’s MET4 gas meter training course is for candidates involved in diaphragm type gas meter installation, including exchange, commissioning and removal these systems.
MET4 assessment covers gas meters with a badged capacity up to 40 cubic metres per hour capacity, with pipework up to 2” in size (50mm).
This gas meter installation course is designed for installers who already hold Core Commercial Gas Safety (COCN1) plus Testing and Purging of Pipework (TPCP1a) and/or Core Meter Installer (CMA1) plus testing and Purging of Pipework (TPCP1a).
First Fix of Commercial Pipework (ICPN1) may also be required where alterations to the outlet supply are necessary to facilitate the installation of the meter.
Candidates must hold the following qualifications:
- CMA1 or CESP1 or COCN1 or CCCN1 or CCN1
Note: If working on meters >16m3/hr or working on installations out of scope of UP/1B; TPCP1 or TPCP1A is required.
Note: Work on meters with MP meter < 6 m3/h require REGT1 , MP supplies > 6 m3/h also require REGT 2.
First Fix of Commercial Pipework (ICPN1) may also be required.
Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1), Core Emergency Service Provider (CESP1) or CMA1 may be acceptable without TPCP1A or ICPN1 for engineers who install U16 meters in domestic type premises.
