Logic4training’s LPG Changeover course is for registered domestic gas operatives who wish to upskill into LPG fired appliances.
Suitable candidates must hold a current CCN1 or COCN1 certificate. The course includes CCLP1 PD; installation servicing and repair of domestic appliances in permanent dwellings.
Liquefied petroleum gas (LPG, also known as propane or butane) is an alternative fuel used in heating appliances, cooking equipment and leisure accommodation vehicles, including boats, yachts, campervans and caravans.
This LPG Changeover course is for experienced operatives who wish to undertake commissioning, installation, service and repair of LPG appliances in permanent dwellings (CCLP1 PD) and other premise types.
Please note: This course consists of CONGLP1PD (LPG Changeover – Permanent Dwellings) only.
Alternatively, we run an LPG package course which includes CONGLP1 (LPG Changeover) plus separate LPG categories as required.
The course includes training and assessment on CONGLP1 – LPG Changeover (Including Permanent Dwellings) only.
On successful completion, separate LPG category modules for boats & yachts, leisure accommodation vehicles, closed flue gas fires or residential park homes may be required.
We also offer an LPG package course which includes CONGLP1 (LPG Changeover) plus separate LPG categories as required.
The cost of the course includes training, assessment and the certification fee.
Operatives must hold either the Core Domestic Natural Gas Safety (CCN1) or Core Commercial Gas Safety (COCN1).
Also operatives must hold the domestic natural gas qualification for LPG appliance types that they wish to work on.
For example, to work on a an LPG fired cooker on a boat, operatives must hold the following:
- Core Domestic Gas Safety (CCN1)
- Cookers (CKR1)
- LPG Changeover (CONGLP1)
- Boats (CONGLP B)
You have to be registered with Gas Safe Register and have held your ACS for a minimum of 12 months to do this course.
