Boiler manufacturers are doing their bit to save installers a bit of time and energy as they work to add online resources and helpful applications to the virtual tool kit.
We know that you guys generally have a preference as to which manufacturers you use so you may be familiar with some of the resources that are out there for your chosen brand but maybe not others.
Most manufacturers have a special “Trade” or “Installer” section on their website, which can be accessed through any web browser (including mobile).
These sections all have similar features, literature, apps, FAQs, ERP etc and they all offer benefits schemes which are now being linked to applications.
Baxi
Baxi has a dedicated trade area for professionals where you can download their app, watch video guides, gain access to exclusive promotions and much more.
The layout is extremely easy to navigate, working well on mobile.

Ideal
Ideal has a dedicated app for easy notification, calculations and reference. Glow Worm
Glow Worm has an excellent trade section with a full library of installation and servicing manuals. You can find and download PDF’s or view them in your browser.
Glow Worm has a great app called Plumbing Toolbox, which aims to be the Installers best friend. The service section is nicely laid out too, allowing you to quickly and easily find Frequently asked technical questions, Fault Finding Codes as well as links to new boiler registration and a renewable service section.

Vaillant
Vaillant’s Installers area places an emphasis on their app and smart technology, with a section on ERP, Literature and their own reward and recognition programme for installers purchasing Vaillant products.
Their ErP labelling tool is a really nice touch, allowing you to create system or individual product labels using an easy to understand, step by step method.
The masterTEC app integrates with Gas Safe for straightforward guarantee registrations.

Worcester Bosch Group
Worcester has it’s own “Professional” area. There is a heavy emphasis on promotions and cashback schemes for customers.
The are is slightly harder to navigate than some of the other manufacturer sites, especially on mobile.
If you are looking for troubleshooting and literature it can be found in the “support” section along with Register Guarantees and a spare parts section.

Biasi
Biasi has an installer section which showcases their top products and benefits. It’s a bit more text heavy than the other manufacturers installer areas and you’ll need to scroll down quite far on your mobile to get to the important bits. They are there though!
Features include a spares stockist section, literature and ERP calculator.
You will find Biasi’s Pro Fit scheme which, like the others, gives exclusive benefits to its members. Extended warranties, Free boiler registrations are par for the course but there are added benefits like being listed on Biasi’s “Find an Installer Page” and annual service reminder letters.

Vokera’s slick website uses a “Trade & Professional” tab located on the homepage. From here you can select from a handy ErP section, products, Manuals & Literature, spare parts, training, affinity and promotions amongst other things.
