We've upgraded all of out installation and maintenance renewables courses to nationally recognised QCF qualifications. The Qualifications and Credit Framework is a more flexible way for candidates to learn and one that is recognised by the Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) – a must for installers looking to take advantage of the business opportunities presented by the Feed in Tariffs (FiTs, Renewable Heat Incentive (RHI) and Green Deal.   Logic4training’s move to QCF ensures that its courses meet the forthcoming changes to MCS registration, surrounding the requirements for competence and recognised qualifications. The level 3 QCF qualifications have been developed in-line with the National Occupational Standards, providing a future proof route for candidates and one that can take into account prior experience.   QCF Level 3 awards in installation and maintenance of the technologies below are available from Logic4training: In addition, for non-technical candidates, Logic4training delivers a QCF L3 Award in Environmental Technologies Awareness, designed to provide a general overview of the main renewable technologies; ideal for staff involved in sales, management, supervision or customer service roles. Mark Krull, from Logic4training, said: “Logic4training has been involved in the renewables arm of building services engineering since these technologies first became mainstream, moving with customer demand and changes in legislation to keep our courses relevant. The renewables sector is an evolving one; training providers and installers need to make sure they keep up with the pace of change to maintain their place in this marketplace.”   QCF Level 3 renewables training is available from Logic4training centres in Northolt, Luton and Basildon.
